Clay Walker was born Ernest Clayton Walker Jr, on the 19th of August 1969 in Beaumont, Texas. He is the oldest son of Ernest and Danna Walker. Walker grew up alongside 5 siblings in Vidor with his stepfather and mom. He was just 9 years old when Walker’s father brought him a guitar. From that point forward he began taking interest in music and then participated in different talent contests by the age of fifteen. In 1993 Clay Walker came to the limelight after dropping his self-titled debut album for which he teamed up with producer Stroud.
